Brian James and Joseph Messineo, founders of Link Global Solutions (LGS), were formerly Managing Directors and Co-Heads of Fixed Income at Cohen & Company, a leading structured credit manager and investment bank with more than $40 billion in assets under management across multiple asset classes.
Beginning in 2002, they built the fixed income business at Cohen & Company from the ground up. During their five years at Cohen & Company, they grew the investment bank into one of the most successful and diverse structured finance businesses on the street. Their activities and oversight ran the gamut from trading, sales and syndication to origination and banking. They led Cohen & Company through more than 50 transactions across multiple asset classes (MM CLO’s, CRE, ABS & Trups).
Brian and Joseph worked together previously at UBS and have both been in capital markets for 12 years. They launched LGS in 2007 to leverage their experience and expertise to bring sophisticated recruiting and consulting services to financial institutions worldwide.
